Thousands of visitors in Louisville for BMX Grand Nationals

- It's going to be a big holiday weekend in the City of Louisville and the Governor's Cup at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium isn't the only game in town. From festivals to concerts to what's considered the Superbowl of BMX racing - The National Bicycle League Grand National 2010 at E. P. "Tom" Sawyer Park. It's an event that's really made a name for itself in Louisville, bringing millions of dollars into the community.
Anchorage Police seeking flat screen TV thief

- Several home burglaries have hit the usually quiet community of Anchorage in the last few weeks and it came to a head when a police officer caught the suspected burglar in the act. In all the thefts, high tech equipment was stolen, but every case has had a common thread of one target item - large flat screen television sets.

Man arrested for fake kidnapping note

JCPS postpones action on middle and high school student assignment plan

The school board was considering waiting a year after big transportation problems with the new elementary assignment plan the first week of school.
